Review: SHEIN products are affordable and generally suit people with average earning power. Some items are good, while others do not last long in use — truly a case of “you get what you pay for.” I am a regular SHEIN shopper and find their clothing designs quite decent overall. However, there are areas for improvement. Many designs use kimono sleeves, which are not flattering for women with broader shoulders or bigger arms. Such sleeves can make the upper body look larger and uncomfortable. When the overall cutting is bigger, the sleeves should also be proportionate. Bigger builds naturally come with bigger arms and shoulders, so proper size grading is important. I bought several pieces where the body fit well but the sleeves were too tight, making them unwearable. In the end, I had to donate them. Still, some SHEIN items I truly love, which is why I continue to support the brand. I just hope SHEIN won’t waste my support and money, and will seriously improve on sizing and material quality.
